About the Event
Sep. 4: our members begin checking in at our exciting hotel, the Marriott Boston Quincy.
Fri., Sep. 5: 10 am: We carpool to the nearby Adams National Park, and visit the homes of US presidents John Adams and John Quincy Adams.
Sat., Sep.6: 11:00 a.m.-2:30 pm: We hold our Annual Meeting and Luncheon in the hotel's 7 Masts private dining room. We have a great featured guest speaker, Brian Bixby, of Cambridge, Mass., who will present his research results on the months spent in Boston by 19-year old Aaron Burr, as he joined the Revolutionary troops, preparing to travel to Quebec.
Sun., Sep. 7: We take the Hop On, Hop Off trolley, with 14 stops in Boston. The 'Hop On, Hop Off Bus' which travels around downtown/historic Boston enabling one to hop off at different points of interest and hop back on the bus for the next stop.
