Monday, Oct. 16:
11:00 am: We have a guided tour of the Univ. of Virginia main campus and grounds, including the Rotunda and Lawn.
Lunch: We hope to go to one of the two restaurants in the new (slated to open in April, 2023), glamorous hotel at the North Grounds of the University, the UVA Darden Boutique Hotel, by Kimpton.
Tuesday, Oct. 17:
11 a.m.: We tour HIGHLANDS (formerly Ash Lawn), the home of president James Monroe.
Lunch: Held at the nearby MICHIE TAVERN, the venerable, costumed, early America restaurant.
Wed., Oct. 18:
12 noon: Guided tour of MONTPELIER, home of president James Madison, who was Aaron's classmate at what became Princeton University. We will meet with members of the Descendants Committee, whose ancestors were enslaved residents at Montpelier.
Thurs., Oct. 19:
10:45 a.m.: We tour MONTICELLO, home of president Thomas Jefferson, with whom Aaron Burr served as vice president in Jefferson's first administration.
6 pm: Hold our Annual Dinner and Meeting, at Burton's Grill & Bar, a fine-dining property in Charlottesville.
Friday, Oct. 20:
We check-out of our hotels.
